- About

Faith that welcomes.
Love that acts.

We believe God’s love is meant to be experienced, shared, and put to work. That conviction shapes everything we do here.

- Our story

A congregation shaped by its neighbours

Valhalla United Methodist Church has served this community for generations. Our sanctuary has held weddings, funerals, first communions, Christmas pageants, and a great many ordinary Sundays that mattered just as much.

We listen to what our neighbours need. People are looking for a place where they are known by name and welcomed as they are. That is the church we are trying to be.

We value generosity over scarcity, relationship over isolation, and service over being served. Those are not slogans. They are the questions we ask when we make decisions.

- What we believe

United Methodist, and plain about it

Our tradition holds personal faith and social responsibility together. You cannot love God and ignore your neighbour.

Baptism and communion

Communion is served on the first Sunday of the month and is open to everyone. You do not need to be a member. You do not need to be sure about anything. Come to the table.

- Cooperative parish

Four churches, one shared mission

We are part of the Greater White Plains Cooperative Parish. Each church keeps its own building, its own congregation, and its own character. What we share is leadership, mission projects, and the occasional very good joint service.

Together we run shared worship, mission initiatives, leadership training, and community-wide events like Let Freedom Sing: Gospel Jam Session.
